Carvey Terms of Use
Effective date: September 16, 2026
Last updated: September 16, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Carvey, an application provided by Schehr Law PLLC (“Schehr Law,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using Carvey, you agree to these Terms.
Description of Carvey
Carvey is an informational and documentation tool that helps you record information about a vehicle accident, including photos, a guided narrative, and witness and police information, and that allows you to request a callback from Schehr Law if you choose.
Carvey is not an emergency service and does not replace calling 911 or seeking medical attention.
Not Emergency, Medical, or Legal Advice
Carvey does not provide emergency, medical, or legal advice. Carvey does not diagnose injuries, does not evaluate the merits of any legal claim, and does not instruct you on what to do following an accident.
Any guidance provided within the app, whether spoken or written, is general in nature. For medical concerns, consult a qualified medical professional. For legal questions, consult a licensed attorney.
No Guarantees
Carvey is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Schehr Law makes no guarantee that:
- Carvey’s crash-detection feature will detect any particular crash, or that it will not activate in the absence of a crash.
- Photos, narrative entries, or other information recorded in Carvey will be preserved indefinitely, will survive device loss, deletion, or malfunction, or will be suitable as evidence for any purpose.
- Submitting a callback request will result in a response, a case evaluation, or representation by Schehr Law. Whether Schehr Law agrees to represent you is at the firm’s sole discretion, and no attorney-client relationship is formed by using Carvey or by submitting a callback request.
Your Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for contacting 911 or other emergency services when needed. Carvey does not do this automatically and cannot do so on your behalf.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into Carvey and for maintaining the security of your device, as Carvey stores your accident information locally on it.
Sharing Your Information
Carvey transmits your callback request, and, if you separately elect to include it, your Accident Report, to Schehr Law only when you affirmatively submit that request.
You determine whether the Accident Report is included each time you submit a request.
Beta / Pilot Status
Carvey is currently made available on iOS through a limited pilot distributed via Apple’s TestFlight program. Carvey has not been publicly released, may contain defects, and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
Carvey is provided for evaluation purposes during this pilot. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Schehr Law disclaims liability for any loss of data, missed or incomplete information, or damages of any kind arising from use of this beta version.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Schehr Law shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, Carvey, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of evidence, or reliance on any information generated by the app.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Carvey develops, including as it transitions from a limited pilot toward broader availability. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
